Local choir Accorde sing their heart out to raise funds for the Red Hen Project

By 7th July 2022No Comments

On Saturday the 28th of May, the Church of the Good Shepherd opened its doors to the beautiful sounds of a local choir – Accorde. We couldn’t believe our luck when Jan Moore contacted us to arrange a performance with all funds raised going to the Red Hen Project.

The selection of songs combined with the stories behind the music was a brilliant idea. It captured the audience’s imagination, ensuring everyone had a wonderful evening.

“We loved doing the concert and are even happier that you made some real money. We would love to do it again sometime.” Jan Moore – Chair.

Huge thanks to the choir and the audience who donated so generously. A special thank you to the conductor Andrew Foxley, Jan Moore, Sarah UpJohn, Philip Johnston, and of course The Church of the Good Shepherd without whom the concert would never have happened.

To date, the concert has raised more than £772. You can still donate here.
