Bradfield gives Red Hens a new roosting place!

Last week we received a warm welcome as we given complimentary membership of the Bradfield Centre.  This is part of a wider partnership with the Center, which describes itself as a ‘collaborative entrepreneurial community of technology start-ups and scale-ups’.

The Home-Flexi membership means our team of family workers and project workers can drop in and use the facilities in-between visits to families they are supporting in CB4. Having a safe and warm place to reflect, write up notes, and recharge before visiting another family is crucial to the team’s wellbeing.

We will also be able to use their meeting rooms, which is what family workers did on their first visit for a team session where they together try to troubleshoot challenges from their individual caseloads.

In March the Centre is giving us space to hold our First Aid training with social enterprise  ABC Life Support.

The Bradfield will be used in conjunction with the office space we have in Milton provided kindly by local software company Elica.
